Breeio April 2026 release notes: Designed to drive better learning outcomes
The latest Breeio updates focus on one clear goal: helping organisations turn learning into meaningful outcomes. Across the platform, we’ve introduced smarter tools, clearer visibility, and time-saving improvements that support better decisions, stronger engagement, and more confident progression.
Here’s a quick look at what’s new and, more importantly, how it delivers value.
Get the right learning to the right people, faster
Content Marketplace: The widest selection of content at your fingertips
Finding and delivering relevant learning just got easier. The new Content Marketplace lets you browse, review, and select courses directly in Breeio, making them instantly available to learners.
With both licensed and pay-as-you-go options, organisations can:
1. Scale learning provision quickly
2. Respond to skills gaps as they emerge
3. Control costs while expanding course choice
Outcome: Faster access to high-quality learning without added admin overhead.
Turn learning activity into insightful evidence
Learning Logs that capture impact, not just completion
The Learning Log has evolved from a record of activity into a tool for reflection and insight. Learners can now add reflections to completed courses, helping them capture learning outcomes and practical takeaways.
New date filtering makes reviewing progress easier, while the Combined Objective and Learning Log download brings objectives, learning, and reflections into a single, clear document. Ideal for appraisals, reviews, and professional conversations.
Outcome: Learning becomes visible, reflective, and easier to evidence.
Clearer objective setting and progress tracking
Objectives play a critical role in development. These updates give managers and learners more clarity and control.
A new “Added by” column shows whether objectives were set by the learner or their manager, helping clarify ownership.
New PDF downloads allow managers to export objectives for individuals directly from Objectives or My Teams.
Outcome: More focused goal setting and smoother performance conversations.
Smarter support with AI-powered tools
AI features, with the right controls
AI features now come with clearer permission settings, allowing organisations to confidently manage access while benefiting from intelligent support where it’s needed most.
Reduce common learning queries
Learners can use our new and improved IO Help to ask questions about the learning they have access to, reducing reliance on support teams.
Real-world simulated learning
Add AI tutors and scenario challenges to your courses and give learners helpful resources to augment your eLearning, instructor-led or blended course content. The AI activities dynamically adapt to the course, the company, the industry, and the learner’s role to make it specific and stimulating.
Guided coaching that turns objectives into plans
Breeio comes with an AI Assistants library designed specifically for learners, managers and the L&D team. For example, learners have access to an AI Coach designed to be used alongside traditional coaching or where coaching is not viable for all learners. The AI Coach follows the GROW module and asks questions to help colleagues form a plan for progressing towards their goals and objectives.
Faster answers, more time for people
Trained on a specific body of knowledge (e.g. HR policies, IT security policies, Product information), the optional AI Assistant can answer questions on that subject and engage in dialogue with the colleague. Breeio Administrators can upload and manage source documents via a self-service area, ensuring full control and up-to-date information.
Outcome: Less time navigating systems, more time focusing on people and development.
Better insight for admins and managers
Engagement stats on the dashboard
Your dashboard now includes engagement statistics. Providing you with a clearer snapshot of how learners are interacting with content, without needing to dig into reports.
Skills, now enhanced
Skills functionality has been enhanced with AI capabilities and improved reporting, helping organisations understand current capability and where development will have the greatest impact.
Expanded reporting and forecasting
- A new ‘Other’ report provides system statistics and visibility into course content.
- Improved forecast reporting to include courses that do not contain an instructor-led module. Survey results can now be made visible in My Teams, so managers can easily review feedback alongside learning data.
Outcome: Decisions based on insight, not assumption.
Stronger visibility across teams
My Teams enhancements
Managers can now search for users and courses directly within My Teams, making it easier to track learning, survey results, and progress across their team from one place.
Outcome: Managers spend less time searching and more time supporting development.
Clearer user and availability management
Visibility of Away Until users
Managers can see who is currently marked as away via My Teams, while admins can view a user’s full away history.
Improved user search and visibility
- New Inactive filters help keep user lists accurate.
- Visibility of Line Managers in the user search area
- Admins can now see a user’s last login date on their profile, supporting engagement tracking and follow-up.
Outcome: Better understanding of who’s active, available, and engaged.
Smoother event, resource, and content management
Events and bookings
- When booking delegates onto an independent event, the available list of delegates is aligned with the group(s) to which the event has been made available.
- Inactive trainers are flagged so replacements can be assigned quickly.
- ICS calendar files support configurable reminder timings, improving attendance.
Resource permissions
Standard users can now be trusted to add or update resources via an edit mode without full admin access. Admins can also manage resources directly from the interface.
Course management improvements
- A Notes area on course details captures important context and changes.
- New video control options let you shape learners’ experience with video content.
- Users can navigate through the banners by using the new carousel arrow controls.
- Admins now have full visibility of all discussions.
Outcome: Less admin friction, better oversight, and more consistent learner experiences.
Built to support real-world learning
These latest updates focus on making learning easier to deliver, easier to manage, and easier to evidence. All while giving learners and managers the clarity they need to make progress.
As always, these changes are grounded in how Breeio is used day to day, and they lay the foundation for even smarter, more connected learning experiences ahead.
